This is the Second time that I have been here and the Food is Lovely. The Only Downside, is that it doesn't stay Open for long.
If you take your time to assess the Farquharson Arms you'll soon understand that this is a very traditional pub with a warm and cosy welcome for everyone that visits. It is often very difficult to find a pub that offers everything that a pub should have, instead of feeling orchestrated in some of the more modern pubs that just want your money rather than your custom. Quite the opposite here in this village pub with very friendly staff. The food here is reasonably priced and their carvery is excellent in both taste and value. It's a welcoming sign when you can ask for a variation of your food choice and it's accommodated without question. It was very likely that we were going to be late for our booking, but the staff offered to keep some food back for us, just in case - now that's great service.I was impressed with the Farquharson Arms. It's pubs like these that need to retain their individual style and charisma.
Friendly, welcoming pub. The beers are always in a superb condition and the Sunday Roast is the best. Wish we could come here more often!
Highly recommended: Amazing pub and restaurant. Food was excellent, friendly staff and local punters. My son left his jumper and they kindly rang me to let me know it was there.
Stopped off here for lunch on the way to the coast. Obviously very popular with the locals and a steady flow of visitors also. We found it by chance but would highly recommend it based on our experience. Very friendly staff, very good lunch menu with plenty of choice, a pleasant atmosphere and good food.
