Lovely locals pub serving well kept ale. A good selection of food served lunchtimes and evenings.

Really good food and great service.. Taking one star off as very limited vegetarian options when I visited.
Fathers day. Two roast beef, two roast pork diners took 1 hour 30 minutes. Booked for 1pm - after going to the bar we were informed that they'd run out of food. I find this hard to understand as we had actually booked. Half our party of 4 were offered a free drink. After suggesting not to pay the full bill we were offered 10% off. The meal itself was poor - roast potatoes hard and had to ask for further gravy to cover the plate of food. Communication poor and no forward offers of discount or time frames on when food would be ready. We werr told the chef had walked out too. We had sympathy but the way it was dealt with was poor.
Location is nice, but traffic noise from the road is unfortunate when seated outside. Draught ciders were different but delicious. Sunday lunch menu is limited but the food was tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful.
