Decent little pub went for Xmas meal food was ok
Booked a little party at the Stour and asked them to provide buffet, they were fab, decorated and made sure we were very happy. Food was excellent and lots of it!
Highly recommend The Stour Inn. Lovely food and great service! The open fire place as you walk in sets a welcoming atmosphere. Best pub in town
I don't quite understand some of the reviews I am reading here. We went to this pub last night and I had The Wareham Burger and It was quite possible the worst burger I have ever eaten from a Pub. It's texture was rubbery and did not taste like beef in the slightest. Very thin, almost like a frozen burger out of a packet. The tables were not set out to eat considering it's a dining area. The service was good though. Such a shame because I remember going here a couple of years ago and it was like I had found a little gem. I will never go here again. Disgusting food.
When we booked the table we were told to arrive promptly and order quickly due to them always being busy. We arrived early, ordered in a timely manner and the food was extremely slow at arriving, despite there being only on party of two eating and one person sitting at the bar. The fish was over cooked and chips very sparce. Despite that it tasted good. The service was better than OK but not brilliant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
